Hiee Everyone!!!Its been a small time I doesn't post anything.I feel very guilty for that..Now I just wanna tell you all how to Block Websites Without Using any Software.This is posssible and one can block whatever the websites one wants to block..Mainly Blocking of Websites is done for not viewing on Adult sites.The websites which contains some adult things and the owner of the system wants to restrict other users to access only the secured websites
So here is the trick that allows you to block unwanted websites or the websites you need to block it and it is done without using any software!!!!!
To block a Website without using any software just follow the simple trick:
Step 1:
First open "Run" dialog box from the Start menu or simply press "Winkey+R" ..
Step 2:
Now just copy and paste the following Path without quotes and press Enter
"notepad %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\hosts"
(OR)
Go to "C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\Etc" and find the file name called "hosts"..Then right click it and select open with Notepad file..
Step 3:
Now when this host file is opened in notepad ,and at the end of the file you will see something like "127.0.0.1 localhost"
Step 4:
Under the line "127.0.0.1 localhost" just add another website URL that you want to block.
For example:
127.0.0.1 localhost
127.0.0.2 www.youtube.com
127.0.0.3 www.allgovtjobs.in
You can also try different websites URL to block
Step 4:
Make sure every time you add another website ,the last digit of the address 127.0.0.x should not be the same.
Step 5:
Finally save the file and exit
Now its your time folks!!!Restart your browser if it is opened and changes will take place immediately ..The good thing is that no message,no pop ups nothing will be displayed when someone tries to open a blocked website.Your browser will just fail to open those websites without any error messages..
